One of the goals for the U-Pick side of our business is to educate children about farming and let them experience “farm-life.” According to the U.S. Census Bureau the rural population in Texas dropped by 65% from 1900 to 2000. As a result fewer and fewer children are being exposed to farm-life, and many of them don’t understand where food in the grocery store comes from.

We offer a discount package for groups of children such as daycare or church groups. The package includes: 1 quart blueberries per child (they pick them), 8 ounce cup homemade blueberry lemonade, kids blueberry recipe/activity book, guided tour, and educational presentation. Please feel free to bring picnic lunches and enjoy the countryside. Please notify us ahead of time, so we can be ready for your group. These tours are offered Monday-Saturday, at the TX farm only.
